Solomon (Sol) D. Trujillo is a global business executive who has uniquely served as CEO in three large market-cap global companies in three different corridors of the world, driving unprecedented growth in communications, media, and technology companies. Mr. Trujillo was named one of the 100 Most Influential Latinos in the world. He has served as a board director for several major firms including Bank of America, PepsiCo, and Target, and is currently on the board of Western Union. He is founder and chairman of the Trujillo Group, LLC; co-founder and chairman of the Latino Donor Collaborative; co-founder of L’ATTITUDE, and the co-founder of L’ATTITUDE Ventures, a purpose-led venture fund that invests in early-stage US Latino-led and owned businesses.
Gary is the Co-Founder & CEO of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP®) and a 25-year veteran of the housing industry. NAHREP is one of the nation’s largest real estate trade associations with over 30,000 members and 80 local chapters. Gary has also founded several successful mortgage, real estate, and technology companies: Prado Mortgage, New Vista Asset Management, CounselorMax, and RealEstateEspanol.com.
Pete is an experienced operator, entrepreneur,and investor with experience building and growing businesses across a variety of sectors. Prior to L’ATTITUDE, Pete served as co-founder and the chief financial officer at Luminary Media, an venture-backed technology podcast platform with some of the worlds’ most influential creators across sports, music, and comedy. Prior to Luminary, Pete spent 15 years as a growth and early stage investor at the Raine Group and investment banking roles at Morgan Stanley. Pete has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and sits on the board of UC Merced and Maestro Cares.
Oscar is the former Chairman and CEO of United Airlines. Oscar currently serves on the board of directors for CBRE Group Inc. and Univision Holdings Inc. and sits as an independent trustee on Fidelity’s Equity & High-Income Funds Board. Prior to United, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of CSX Corporation. Oscar is active in several industry coalitions and philanthropic and educational organizations including the University of Southern California’s Board of Trustees and the PAFA advisory board of Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Christy Fernandez-Cull is the CEO and founder of DaVinci Wearables. Previously she led the sensing and perception system’s teams at Waymo - formerly Google Self-Driving. She was also the Head of Sensors at Lyft Level 5 Self-Driving Division, leading sensor architecture for Lyft vehicle platforms — designing machine eyes to help transform transportation of the future. Prior to Lyft, she was a technologist at Apple spanning autonomous systems and the Camera and Depth Hardware team that released the first-of-kind Light Detection and Ranging module in the 2020 iPad. She has spanned both the development of Defense technologies at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and at-scale consumer-product technologies at Apple. She is a technology advisor to multiple VCs and startups in the areas of sensors and systems for security, robotics, autonomous vehicles and digital health and wearables. She received her MS and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and MBA from MIT and enjoys mentorship and serving as a guest lecture at MIT / Media Lab and recruiting in STEM/STEAM fields
Laura leverages her exceptional network and expertise to support the firm’s deal flow and outreach strategy. She is the Founder & CEO of Pandocap which provides strategic advisory and media services that help early and growth-stage companies access capital markets, implement and measure ESG strategies and accelerate towards an initial public offering (IPO). Prior to Pandocap, Laura was a Managing Director at Nasdaq where she led the IPOs of Beyond Meat, Lyft, The RealReal, Airbnb and other high-profile listings. Laura is also a successful Latina entrepreneur having found and exited Ladada, one of the first fashion subscription startups to feature emerging new designers. Laura is an advisor to 500 Startups, Fulcrum Ventures and a board member of California Lutheran University and Pangea Legal.
Led by her passion to support Latino founders, Cecilia initially joined L’ATTITUDE Ventures while pursuing her MBA. Prior to joining L’ATTITUDE Ventures, she was a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C., where she advised federal clients on investigations related to transnational organized crimes including money laundering and drug trafficking. She supports college students as an Ascend Coach for MLT. Cecilia holds a B.A. in International Affairs and a B.A. in Romance Languages, Spanish & French from the University of Georgia. Cecilia earned her MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business as a Toigo and Consortium Fellow.
Tiq was previously a VC Investor at the Silicon Valley-based Rocketship.vc, and he holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. With global investment experience ranging from Seed to Series B, Tiq excels in connecting founders to capital, opportunities, and talented teams. Leveraging his expertise in finance and entrepreneurship, especially in venture capital, he leads due diligence, invests in founders, and generates deal flow for L’ATTITUDE Ventures. His dedication extends to building networks for Latinx organizations and research projects that highlight opportunities for underrepresented communities.
Fabián is a venture capital investor and ex-startup/VC attorney. Before L’ATTITUDE, Fabián helped run the early-stage focused firm Mana Ventures, one of the top investment funds/syndicates on AngelList. His Mana Ventures deals include Earth, Ocrolus, and ScienceIO. Earlier in his career, Fabián was a startup/VC attorney at law firms Gunderson Dettmer and Strategic Law Partners, having represented startups and VC firms such as HELIX (Google X) and Science Inc (Dollar Shave Club). Fabián holds a BA from UC Berkeley, a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
Israel’s career blends startup experience as investing experience. Prior to L’ATTITUDE, Israel was an Associate at Acrew Capital, a multi-stage venture capital fund based in San Francisco. In the past, he served as an Investment Analyst at the Illinois Treasurer and also helped launch and grow Angeles Investors, the largest Latino-focused angel investing network. Israel is also a former Fulbright Scholar, having participated in the Binational Business Program in Mexico City. There, he worked as a Commercial Analyst at Linio, one of the earliest ecommerce marketplaces for Latin America.Israel was born and raised in Chicago’s southside. He is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.A. in Economics.
Diana Hernandez brings over 15 years of CPG experience to the due diligence process and growth of portfolio companies. Diana has worked for Fortune 500 companies and managed top household brands, including Clorox, Brita, and method products. She has P&L management and cross-functional experience in finance, sales, marketing, and Ecommerce, with expertise in launching and growing brands. Diana began her career as an auditor in financial services with PwC. Diana is also an Executive Career Coach and is the Chair of San Francisco Hispanic Scholarship Fund Advisory Board.
